Perchè il PC-E 24.. - Because the PC-E 24..
Il PC-E 24 pur non essendo dichiarato come Micro raggiunge un Rapporto di Riproduzione di 1:2.7 ed è basculabile.
Queste due caratteristiche mi hanno attratto poichè nel mio genere di foto mi avrebbero permesso dei close-up ambientati e
un aumento della profondità di campo grazie al basculaggio.
The PC-E 24 is not declared as Micro but reaches a reproduction ratio of 1:2.7 and it can be tilted. In my kind of pictures these two features give me the opportunity of wide-angle macrophotography and an increasing depth of field due to tilting.

In certe condizioni la corta focale del PC-E consente, grazie anche alla pulizia ad alti ISO della D3, di scattare a mano libera
con un diaframma abbastanza chiuso. La qualità ottica è eccellente ed il peso non è eccessivo. La meccanica è precisa come la
messa a fuoco manuale. Un ottimo vetro per un uso un pò insolito. Qui a fianco uno scatto preso in un bosco a 800 ISO. Mentre
mettevo a fuoco i soggetti mi sono accorto che una mosca voleva atterrare sul fungo. Ho staccato la macchina dal cavalletto
ed ho scattato una decina di volte..

Per questo tipo di fotografie, in passato ho usato il Nikkor AI-s 28 mm f/2.8 (close-up 0,2 mt) ma devo ammettere che il PC-E 24 oltre ad essere più creativo ha una resa assai migliore.
For this kind of photos, in the past I used the Nikkor AI-S 28 mm f/2.8 (close-up 0.2 mt) but I must admit that the PC-E 24 is much better and more creative.
Nikkor PC-E 24: a mano libera - freehand
Anche nella fotografia di paesaggio il Nikkor PC-E 24 mm rende benissimo. Inoltre in questo genere, volendo, tramite il
decentramento prima tutto a destra e poi a sinistra, è possibile ottenere fotografie panoramiche di grandi dimensioni.
Lo scatto qui a fianco è preso in piena luce, con due filtri ND, su cavalletto, MF e scatto remoto con Nikon D3.
In landscape photography too, the PC-E Nikkor 24 mm makes it very well. Una prova di flessibilità del PC-E 24.
Qui ho tolto dal cavalletto la fotocamera. Ho potuto così abbassare ulteriormente il punto di visione.
Il tempo era nuvoloso e il luogo tra gli alberi. Ho portato gli ISO a 1600 poichè il diaframma minimo
adeguato per la DoF era f/7.1.
Grazie al basculaggio orizzontale ho ottenuto a fuoco il soggetto a destra e i soggetti a sinistra
che non erano sullo stesso piano. Non potevo spostrami a sinistra cercando un miglior parallelismo
poichè avrei inserito nello sfondo un tronco sulla destra che sarebbe risultato di disturbo.

I setted the D3 at ISO to have the appropriate minimum aperture at f/7.1. With the horizontal tilt I got to focus on the subject to the right and left who were not subjects to the same plane. I could not move left looking for a better plane parallel because would be inserted into the background a trunk on the right that would have been disturbing.
